Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The patient care team will include monitoring EKGs, assisting during angioplasty and catheterization, and providing care in a fast-paced cardiovascular surgical environment.

The role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and offers a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on day shifts. A travel RN position with stipends is available in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Qualifications

• ACL S/BLS certification required.
• 1-2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor and maintain EKG equipment and patient status in the Cath Lab.
• Provide post-procedure care and ensure patient safety and comfort.
