Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Cedar Rapids, IA. The RN will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a catheterization lab, monitor vitals, and support the medical team during procedures.

Weekly pay is $2,938 and hours are 36 per week. Requirements include a current RN license in the working state, BLS, ACLS may be required by contract, and 2 years Cath Lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current license in the state they are working.
• ACLS may be required by state/client contract.
• Minimum of 2 years Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current BLS.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The RN (Cath Lab) specializes in working with patients undergoing diagnostic or interventional cardiac procedures in a catheterization lab. During cardiac catheterizations, these nurses monitor vitals, assist with procedural medications including sedatives, and support doctors, technicians, nurses and patients.
