Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This assignment is 13 weeks long with a 9-hour daytime shift and 36 hours per week, in a fast-paced cardiovascular surgical environment.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and ACLS/BLS certifications. Responsibilities include assisting during angioplasty, catheterization, and pacemaker/ICD implant procedures, with a focus on monitoring and complex technology

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required.
• 2 years of recent acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization, angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Support during electrophysiology procedures and pacemaker/ICD implants.
• Monitor and operate EKG equipment and assist in the cardiovascular surgical environment.
