Job summary

Rocket in Detroit is seeking a Travel Billing Specialist to manage travel billing and payment reconciliation for the Rock Family of Companies’ business travel program. You will handle the virtual payment program, collect folios, and complete expense reports with accurate reconciliation.

You will code and approve invoices, resolve overcharges, assist travelers with billing questions, and maintain relationships with hotel and transportation vendors.

Qualifications

• 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage the virtual payment program and complete credit card authorization forms.
• Collect folios/receipts for all credit card transactions.
• Complete expense reports in a timely manner with proper reconciliation.
• Code and approve business travel invoices and verify accuracy.
• Act as the point of contact for travelers with billing questions or concerns while on the road or after they return home.
• Maintain vendor relationships with hotel, airline, ground transportation and car rental companies’ accounting and billing contacts.
• Responsible for all payment components related to the business travel program.
