Job summary

TeamLINX in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an Audio Visual Installation Technician to handle pre-wiring, installing AV and security systems, and setting up networks. The role requires climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 lbs, with possible travel across Colorado and beyond.

You will work independently or under supervision, maintain strong customer service, and adhere to industry standards (BICSI, NEC). The position offers solid benefits and opportunities within a growing team.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient in reading and understanding installation schematics and NEC/BICSI standards.
• Experience with cabling installation and termination across media types is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cabling installation and termination (all media types); cabling testing and documentation.
• Install cameras, TVs, speakers and other Audio Visual equipment.
• Perform cable pulling, suspension, fireproofing, terminating, and testing per BICSI standards and NEC.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a positive impression with customers.
• Travel to job sites anywhere in Colorado; may travel outside Colorado.
