Job summary

Ford Audio-Video is seeking an Installation Technician to design and implement advanced low-voltage commercial AV systems for businesses nationwide. You will install LED/LCD video walls, touch panels, speakers, and related components to deliver immersive experiences. You will handle cable management, technical integration, and safety training (DOT and OSHA 10).

Some travel across the U.S. with occasional overnight stays; this is a safety-sensitive position requiring dependable, detail-oriented

Qualifications

Experience with AV, low-voltage, stagehand or electrical work preferred.
Comfortable using hand/power tools, soldering and crimping.
OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Dependable and detail-oriented in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

Cable management: pulling and terminating cables and assembling racks, patch bays, and mixing consoles.
Technical integration: ensuring seamless connectivity between components.
Safety: DOT and OSHA 10 certifications training to ensure safe, high-quality work.
Travel: install AV systems across the U.S., with occasional overnight stays.
