Job summary

Yorktel is seeking a Field Engineer to install, commission and manage large-scale AV and videoconferencing systems across client sites in the US. Role requires extensive travel and hands-on technical work with the Yorktel engineering team and PMO oversight.

The ideal candidate will have experience in AV/VC installation, testing, training, and documentation, with strong problem-solving and customer service skills. Some roles may require security clearances and background checks.

Qualifications

• Travel readiness for multi-night stays and long periods away from home.
• Experience installing and configuring networked AV/VC systems.
• Ability to train clients and document installations clearly.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and test AV/VC components at client sites.
• Test and commission the full system before handover to client.
• Provide hands-on client training after project completion.
• Maintain project documentation and report status to PMO.
