Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital is seeking a Team Lead Charge Nurse for the Trauma Unit (6400 & 6500) on full-time nights. This leadership role coordinates unit operations, mentors staff, and provides direct patient care as needed in Missouri's leading Level I trauma center.

Ideal candidates have an RN license, 2+ years of nursing experience, and strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills. A sign-on bonus of $15,000 is offered and the unit combines trauma, geriatric trauma, and acute care

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily unit operations during assigned shifts.
• Serve as clinical resource for nursing and support staff.
• Provide direct patient care as needed.
• Lead development and evaluation of complex care plans with the interprofessional team.
• Ensure safe, high‑quality care and patient outcomes.
