Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Missouri's leading Level I trauma center, seeks an experienced Team Lead Charge Nurse for the Trauma Unit (6400 & 6500). This part-time day role involves two 12-hour shifts weekly, directing clinical operations under the Nurse Manager while delivering hands-on patient care as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure and nursing degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with leadership skills.
• Strong clinical and communication abilities expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for the unit during shifts.
• Coordinate daily operations and support staff on the unit.
• Serve as clinical resource and provide direct patient care as needed.
• Lead development of care plans and ensure quality and safety.
• Support manager in achieving unit performance goals.
