Qualifications

• Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in nursing.
• No prior experience required; RN license required (per state regulations).
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Promote patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educate patients and families on illness/injury management and home care needs; administer medications.
• Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develop, implement and document individualized plans of care with the interprofessional team.
• Communicate the plan of care across the continuum of care.
• Recognize this is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe practices.
