Skilled Wound Care in Austin, TX is seeking physicians to lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. The role offers a no-call lifestyle with no nights or weekends for a true weekday schedule, and opportunities to perform hands-on procedures with full training provided.

Open to any medical specialty; practice can be part-time or full-time, with a flexible pay structure including per-patient and per-procedure compensation and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Open background; no prior wound care or procedural experience required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsabilités

• Perform wound care through surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Use advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborate with staff in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings to follow patients through healing.
