Qualifications

• High school graduate; degree preferred in medical records or health science.
• Completion of Trauma Registrar course within 9 months of hire.
• AIS scoring certification within 1 year of employment.
• CCA/CCS certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Enter and abstract clinical data for admitted trauma patients into the TraumaOne database.
• Assign ICD-10-CM diagnoses and procedure codes for trauma injuries.
• Maintain data accuracy and ensure 80% of cases are completed within 60 days of discharge.
• Collaborate with Trauma Program Manager to optimize data collection and reporting.
