Job summary

UHS is seeking a Trauma Registrar to compile and monitor concurrent reviews of medical records and trauma databases, ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance. You will manage data entry, generate internal and external reports, and support the Trauma Program Director with data-driven improvements to care.

Responsibilities include data uploads to TDSHS/ACS TQIP, trend analysis, and preparing minutes for Trauma Service meetings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• ATS Trauma Registry Course or AAAM Data Management Course or approved equivalent.
• CAISS certification upon eligibility for Level I/II within five years.
• AAAM Injury Severity Scale Course or approved equivalent for Level III/IV within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs Trauma Registrar duties including compiling and reviewing medical records and trauma databases.
• Uploads trauma data to TDSHS and ACS TQIP as required; identifies trends and makes recommendations.
