Banner Health Staffing Services is seeking a Quality Specialist for Banner University Medical Center-South to sustain trauma PI programs and coordinate performance improvement activities across the hospital. The RN Quality Specialist will monitor data collection, analysis, and benchmarking at local, regional, and national levels, collaborating with trauma teams and leadership.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing with at least five years of clinical experience in high-acuity areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in nursing or healthcare field with RN license or equivalent.
• Five years acute care clinical experience.
• Ability to perform complex statistical analysis and highly developed problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage programs and projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate investigation, analysis, and responses to quality/patient safety issues and trends.
• Develop data analyses for decision making and regulatory requirements.
• Lead committees and coordinate facility activities to improve service quality and efficiency.
• Support implementation of quality and patient safety goals for regulatory/accrediting bodies.
• Act as consultant and educator in program development and special projects.
