Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or healthcare field.
• Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse License.
• Certifications: CEN, CCRN, or TCRN; ATCN.
• 6–8 years ED or Surgical Critical Care experience.
• 3–5 years supervisor/manager experience in healthcare setting.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage adult and pediatric trauma programs.
• Coordinate Injury Prevention Program and Trauma Registry.
• Collaborate with EMS on process improvement and policy development.
• Lead trauma education for physicians, nurses, and EMS personnel.
• Ensure compliance with ACS standards for trauma verification and designation.
• Coordinate trauma education conferences and CME activities.
• Engage in community injury prevention outreach and research.
• Prepare and manage the Trauma budget and equipment needs.
