Qualifications

• BSN required and RN license in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Nurse Executive to establish nursing care standards and evaluates staff compliance.
• Maintains a safe, caring environment and develops unit goals aligned with institutional values.
• Delivers culturally sensitive patient care education for trauma patients and staff.
• Monitors clinical process indicators and quality audits to identify trends and remedial actions.
• Manages operational, personnel, and financial aspects of the trauma program; liaises with hospital administration.
• Ensures compliance with governmental and American College of Surgeons requirements; oversees data handling and confidentiality.
• Acts as internal resource for trauma care education and pre-hospital staff education.
