• Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare field is required.
• 6–8 years in Emergency Department or Surgical Critical Care.
• 3–5 years supervisory/managerial experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Oversee adult and pediatric trauma programs.
• Oversee Injury Prevention Program and Trauma Registry.
• Collaborate with EMS on process improvement and policy development.
• Prepare for and maintain ACS and NYS trauma designation.
• Develop and evaluate standards of care for the trauma program.
• Assist staff with trauma care problem-solving.
• Oversee data collection and quality improvement in trauma care.
• Coordinate trauma education programs for nursing staff.
• Promote injury prevention and community outreach.
• Prepare and oversee the trauma budget.
