Job summary

Atrium Health in Macon, GA is seeking a Trauma Program Manager to lead and coordinate the Trauma Services team. You will drive program quality, monitor performance, and manage PIPS data in the trauma registry in line with ACS and TQIP guidelines.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, prepare annual assessments and reports, respond to Trauma Team Activations, and contribute to education and research initiatives to advance trauma care across the network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Strong data management and performance improvement focus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with Trauma Services leadership to ensure program quality.
• Monitor and evaluate trauma program performance with opportunities for improvement.
• Manage PIPS data in trauma registry per ACS guidelines.
• Organize multidisciplinary meetings and communications for ACS verification.
• Prepare annual PIPS assessments and required reports.
• Support trauma team during patient care and act as patient advocate.
• Respond to TTAs and liaise with ED and pre-hospital care.
• Participate in education programs for nurses and students.
• Contribute to community education on trauma topics.
• Maintain knowledge of ACS standards and TQIP benchmarks.
• Support Georgia Quality Improvement Program initiatives.
• Promote research related to trauma care.
• Promote and serve as liaison to clinical areas caring for trauma patients.
