Job summary

St. Mary's Health Care System in Georgia seeks a Trauma Program Coordinator to lead trauma services and coordinate care across units. You will work with the Trauma Medical Director to manage the program and develop a regionalized trauma network, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure in Georgia, a BSN, and 3–5 years of nursing experience with 2–3 years in trauma or emergency settings. TNCC, PALS/ENPC, and ACLS certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia.
• BSN from an accredited school.
• 3–5 years nursing experience with 2–3 years in trauma, critical care, or emergency nursing.
• TNCC, PALS or ENPC, and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trauma program for ACS verification visits and state designation surveys.
• Manage trauma services personnel, including registrars, PI coordinators, and outreach staff.
• Develop and maintain trauma-specific protocols and guidelines.
• Oversee the trauma program’s budget, staffing plans, and operational needs.
• Evaluate trauma cases and drive improvements using PI data.
• Manage Trauma Registry data reporting to state/national databases.
• Attend trauma activations and participate in rounds to optimize care.
• Coordinate community injury prevention and trauma education programs.
