Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville leads a Trauma Program leadership role for experienced RNs. You will supervise Trauma Clinical Program staff, drive performance improvements, and ensure compliant billing and regulatory adherence.

You will oversee policy revisions and readiness for trauma designation events. Qualified candidates hold Tennessee RN licensure, BLS and ACLS/ALS credentials, and have 3+ years in emergency/trauma with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of hire; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• RN licensure from Tennessee; active as of hire date.
• 3+ years Emergency/Trauma experience with 1+ year leadership; ACLS if adult critical care.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Trauma Clinical Program staff and guides teams through priorities.
• Drives performance improvement initiatives and ensures compliant activation billing.
• Monitors adherence to trauma regulations and clinical care standards.
• Directs annual review and revision of trauma policies and guidelines.
• Manages readiness for HFC trauma designation verification visits.
