Job summary

Methodist Healthcare, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an RN Trauma PI Coordinator to join our Trauma Program. This role coordinates PI activities, collaborates with TMD/TPM, and ensures adherence to trauma guidelines and regulatory standards.

You will review cases, enter data into the Trauma Registry, identify opportunities for improvement, and support patient safety initiatives across the hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum three years of hospital nursing experience in Critical Care or Emergency nursing.
• Current Texas nursing license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PIPS activities with TMD and TPM/TPD to ensure quality assurance.
• Identify adverse events and implement action plans to improve patient outcomes.
• Develop and implement systems to improve trauma service performance.
• Lead guideline reviews for trauma care and share updates.
• Prepare cases for PI meetings and peer reviews.
• Enter data into Trauma Registry and ensure regulatory documentation.
