Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire or obtained within 60 days of hire with prior approval (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service)
• Three years relevant RN experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program activities and discuss program with physicians and nurses, ensuring care meets evidence-based guidelines.
• Provide education to patients and families during hospital stay and after discharge.
• Participate in patient care rounds and collaborate to meet regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement evidence-based policies and standards for the program.
• Maintain data and serve as subject matter expert for the program and QA activities.
• Promote mission and values of Intermountain Health and adhere to service standards.
