Job summary

Henry Ford Health System in Clinton Township is seeking a Trauma PI Coordinator to identify, verify, and investigate complications in trauma patients, leading performance improvement from pre-hospital through discharge.

Under supervision data analysis, trend evaluation, and action plan development will drive loop closure for quality and risk issues, using ACS guidelines to spread successful innovations hospital-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience with two (2) years in project management, process improvement or risk management preferred.
• Experience with Word, Excel, and relational databases is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, verify, and investigate trauma complications and events to lead quality assurance.
• Develop action plans and ensure loop closure for quality and risk issues.
• Support education and spread continuous improvement methodologies across trauma teams.
