Job summary

Banner Health’s New Nurse Experience Program is a full-time Registered Nurse position that helps new graduates transition to professional nurses within Banner Health’s collaborative learning environment. Trajectory includes mentorship on a 36-bed Trauma PCU unit within a Level 1 hospital in Mesa.

New grads enjoy structured training, on-unit mentorship, simulation resources, and multiple career pathways toward specialties, leadership, or non-bedside roles, plus a 12-month on-unit commitment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required (through AHA/Red Cross/ASHI).
• Lasts: 12 months of RN experience preferred? or not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and discharge planning.
• Formulate and implement a plan of care with the care team.
• Coordinate, delegate and supervise nursing activities.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Document nursing assessments and interventions in the EMR.
