Job summary

WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals in Morgantown is seeking a Clinical Associate for the Trauma Med/Surg Stepdown unit on dayshift. You will support nursing staff with direct patient care, vital signs, and patient comfort while coordinating activities to ensure safe, efficient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS or HeartSaver First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Prior patient care experience preferred.
• Ability to assist in direct patient care as directed by RN.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct patient care and activities of daily living.
• Transport patients and specimens per policy.
• Perform routine tests and record vitals.
• Assist with examinations and procedures with RN/physician.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and report issues.
