WorkWave Staff is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment in the Stepdown/Medical-Surgical unit at a Level I Trauma Teaching Hospital in Morgantown, WV. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced academic medical center, caring for patients with complex needs.

The ideal candidate will have critical thinking and organizational skills, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, and local candidates will not be considered.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in Stepdown, PCU, or Medical-Surgical.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Stepdown and Medical-Surgical patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patients requiring a higher level of observation.
