Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements
• At least 1 year of acute care hospital nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients according to the nursing skills inventory and the age/needs of the patient population
• Coordinates planning for nursing care with an interdisciplinary team
• Administers appropriate clinical decisions and contributes to discharge/transfer planning
• Participates in program evaluation and process improvement to achieve client-centered outcomes
• Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and Memorial Hermann policies
