Job summary

Minimum qualifications include Graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas RN license and BLS certification; experience levels range from RN I to RN

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelor of Nursing preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: Texas RN license or temporary/compact license; BLS certification
• Experience / Knowledge / Skills: RN I to RN IV levels; commitment to MHHS culture

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients according to nursing skills and patient needs.
• Coordinates nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes using data and standards.
• Coordinates treatment plans and discharge/transfer plans.
• Participates in evaluating programs and process improvement toward patient-centered outcomes.
• Adapts care to diverse patient needs and upholds service standards and safety.
• Promotes professional growth through continuing education and may mentor staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
