Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for inpatient care at Delnor, a Level II Trauma Center. The schedule includes three 12-hour shifts per week (3:00 PM–3:30 AM) with every third weekend and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Illinois is required at the time of hire.
• BSN preferred; ADN may be considered if actively pursuing BSN.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, develops individualized plan, coordinates care and evaluates progress.
• Directs care and utilizes assistants appropriately in delivering direct patient care.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians, and staff to create a documented care plan.
• Participates in governance, committees, and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions and adjusts care accordingly.
