Northwestern Medicine is seeking experienced ED RNs for DelNOR, a Level II trauma center, with a schedule of two 12-hour shifts per week (7p–7:30a) and rotating weekends/holidays. You will deliver expert nursing care, coordinate with the health team, and support a patient-first culture.

Qualified candidates have a BSN, IL RN license, BLS, and strong interpersonal and analytical skills to meet the demands of acute care in a dynamic ED environment.

Qualifications

• BSN and current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others.
• Strong analytic abilities and critical thinking for acute patient care.

Responsabilités

• Collects and analyzes patient data, develops and implements an individualized plan, and evaluates progress.
• Directs care and coordinates with any assistants involved in patient care.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and staff to document plans and communications.
• Participates in governance, committee work, and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions and updates the care plan.
• Uses evidence-based practice and research to inform clinical decisions.
