Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse Inpatient to provide comprehensive nursing care for acutely ill patients. The schedule involves three 12-hour shifts per week, 3p–3:30a, with every third weekend and rotating holidays.

As a licensed RN with a BSN, you will assess patients, develop care plans, coordinate with the health team, and document outcomes while adhering to ANA standards.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current State of Illinois RN license.
• AHA BLS required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration.
• Strong analytic abilities.

Responsabilités

• Collects data, plans care, coordinates delivery and evaluates outcomes.
• Directs care and guides use of any nursing assistants.
• Collaborates with patient, family, doctors and staff; documents care plan.
• Participates in governance, committees and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses and updates the care plan accordingly.
• Uses evidence and research to guide practice decisions.
