Job summary

Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, Inc. is seeking Mental Health Workers – Group Home to support a trauma-informed environment and supervise daily group home activities for youth in treatment. You will model professionalism, focus on safety, and guide adolescents in developing coping and living skills.

The role requires empathy, strong communication, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. Starting pay is hourly, with a structured pay schedule based on education and experience,

Qualifications

• 21 years old or older
• Criminal / Child Abuse Clearance: Must pass criminal record and child abuse registry background check as required by the State of Montana
• Education: High School Diploma

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment programming and provide feedback for each child in the group home.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and therapeutic milieu in the treatment unit. Provide constant, quality supervision and care to youth at all times while teaching them coping and daily living skills.
• Complete proper treatment documentation on time and consistent with YBGR policies.
• Serve as a liaison to families and agencies responsible for youth in the home, always providing professional customer service. Supervise and monitor family visits and phone calls on assigned shifts.
• Plan and serve as a support person in the therapeutic treatment procedures in the home and community (recreational, educational, spiritual, social, medical, etc.).
• Responsible/accountable to the treatment team and YBGR for overall program needs.
