Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch (YBGR) seeks a dedicated Mental Health Worker – Group Home to support trauma-informed care for youth in Montana. You will facilitate daily activities, model positive behavior, and help youth develop living and social skills while ensuring safety and therapeutic engagement.

The role requires 21+ years old with a High School Diploma, ability to pass background checks, and a commitment to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Empathy and compassion for youth facing mental health challenges.
• Strong communication with youth, families and the treatment team.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Accurate documentation of notes and plans per policy.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and team-oriented.

Responsabilités

• Implement treatment programming and provide feedback for each child in the group home.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and therapeutic milieu; supervise youth and teach coping skills.
• Complete proper treatment documentation on time; follow YBGR policies.
• Serve as liaison to families and agencies; supervise family visits and calls on assigned shifts.
• Plan and support therapeutic treatment procedures in home and community contexts.
• Be accountable to the treatment team and YBGR for program needs.
