Job summary

Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, Inc. is seeking a Mental Health Worker – Group Home to support a trauma-informed environment and supervise day-to-day activities within the group home for youth in treatment.

You will model positive behaviors, mentor adolescents, and help them develop coping and social skills in a safe setting. The starting pay ranges from $18.12 to $20.39 per hour for full-time roles, with adjustments based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Criminal / Child Abuse Clearance: must pass background check as required by the State of Montana.
• Education: High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment programming and provide feedback for each child in the group home.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and therapeutic milieu; provide constant supervision and teach coping and daily living skills.
• Complete proper treatment documentation on time per YBGR policies.
• Serve as a liaison to families and agencies; supervise and monitor family visits and calls on shifts.
• Plan and support therapeutic procedures in the home and community (recreational, educational, spiritual, social, medical, etc.).
• Responsible to the treatment team and YBGR for overall program needs.
