Job summary

EverForward in Florida seeks a Youth Support Specialist to provide frontline therapeutic care and daily support in our Residential Group Care program. You will engage residents with trauma-informed, youth-centered practices, supervise activities, mentor behavior, and help implement treatment plans.

Collaborating with therapists and case managers, you will document progress, contribute to safety routines, and support families while maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience with youth with significant emotional disturbances preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, supportive environment through supervision and positive role modeling.
• Guide youth in building life skills from social interactions to emotional regulation.
• Lead group and individual activities that promote education, recreation, social development, and community engagement.
• Support therapeutic programs, assist with delivering services, and document progress accurately and timely.
• Collaborate on treatment plans and participate in goal-setting and progress reviews.
• Assist in day-to-day operations of the group home, including routines and documentation.
