Job summary

Pathfinders in Milwaukee seeks a Youth Shelter Program Manager to lead the 24/7 shelter for runaway and homeless youth ages 11-21. You will supervise staff, coordinate schedules, and ensure regulatory compliance while guiding program content and services.

Under the Director of Runaway & Homeless Youth Services, you will manage partnerships, oversee documentation, budget, and trauma-informed crisis support, with a commitment to confidentiality and a diverse client population.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• First aid certification required; may be obtained after hire.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and evaluate a 24/7 youth shelter program with on-call support.
• Hire, train, and supervise paid and volunteer staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, incident reporting, and client records.
• Monitor program budget and procure groceries and supplies.
• Lead partnerships with youth-serving organizations and funders.
• Provide trauma-informed supervision and crisis support to youth.
