Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) is seeking staff for a relief role in our Providence residential program. The position involves guiding youth, supporting daily decision-making, and ensuring a safe milieu aligned with agency policy and Department of Children, Youth and Family requirements.

The role focuses on implementing Trauma Systems Therapy (TST) to promote well-being, with duties including supervision, de-escalation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and good listener with youth.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends/evenings.
• Diverse educational/work backgrounds welcomed; psychology/social work may be relevant.
• Knowledge of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic issues.

Responsibilities
