Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) seeks Direct Care Staff to guide and supervise children and adolescents in our Providence residential programs. This part-time role supports the well-being of residents and upholds agency policies and DYF contract requirements.

The position requires flexible hours including evenings and weekends, reliable transportation, and a commitment to trauma-informed care through Trauma Systems Therapy in the milieu.

Formación

• Empathetic and good listener with youth.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities valued.
• Background in residential care or related fields preferred.
• Knowledge of cultural, ethnic, racial and socioeconomic issues.

Responsabilidades

• Provide guidance and supervision of children/adolescents in a residential setting.
• Assist residents to make daily life decisions within policy and contract requirements.
• Promote the physical and mental well-being of residents.
• Implement and maintain Trauma Systems Therapy (TST) in the milieu setting.
