Job summary

Latin American Youth Center–LAYC is seeking a part-time Clinical Coordinator in Washington, DC to oversee day-to-day clinical services within the Housing Department. The role provides supervision to staff, ensures interventions align with best practices, and maintains DHS/LAYC compliance.

Responsibilities include directing staff through evidence-based interventions, leading case conferences, and ensuring accurate documentation while supporting trauma-informed, culturally competent care for

Qualifications

• Master’s Level Licensed Social Worker, Counselor, or Psychologist with at least 5 years' experience including 3 years in a supervisory role in a clinical or behavioral health setting.
• LICSW DC license, authorized to provide clinical supervision.
• Minimum five-year experience in working with youth.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day delivery of clinical services within the Housing Department.
• Provides individual and group supervision to staff, and leads case conferences, trainings, and presentations.
• Reviews and approves psychosocial assessments and plans of care; ensures documentation compliance with DHS and LAYC policies.
• Leads bi-weekly meetings regarding challenging client cases with program staff and coordinates interdisciplinary meetings.
• Ensures access to trauma-informed, culturally competent service delivery and continuous quality improvement.
