Job summary

The Buckeye Ranch is seeking an Outpatient Counselor/Social Worker for our Community Based team in Central Ohio. You will empower youth and families, with caseloads based on client need, and provide services in-office as convenient for families.

Treatments may include psychotherapy and counseling for mental health symptoms and substance use disorders. Responsibilities include assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and coordinating with admissions and supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field is required or preferred.
• Active LPC, LSW, or MFT licensure or license exam eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance are required.
• Experience as a Counselor, Therapist, Social Worker, or Clinician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for appropriate level of care and provide trauma-informed counseling.
• Identify trauma, adversity and/or toxic stress influencing problems and family dynamics.
• Complete comprehensive diagnostic assessments with admissions and engagement teams.
• Schedule and conduct individual and family counseling sessions, including evenings, per acuity and caseload.
