Job summary

Qualifications

• Nine (9) years of professional experience in corrections, law enforcement, probation/parole, or another area of public safety, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong supervisory and administrative capabilities in large, complex operations
• Experience overseeing contractors and coordinating with multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct care staff and program area managers; set performance standards and conduct appraisals
• Drive program planning, monitoring, and quality improvement for youth center operations
• Manage budget planning and expenditures in line with state guidelines
• Ensure safe environments with trauma-responsive practices and staff training
• Oversee recruitment, staffing levels, scheduling, and retention of personnel
• Engage with school districts, contractors, and law enforcement to facilitate operations and transitions
• Maintain data systems and use metrics to drive program improvements
