Job summary

ACH seeks a Youth Care Specialist to supervise and support youth in a residential setting. You will provide a therapeutic, trauma-informed environment, assist with daily living, and help clients work toward individualized service plan goals.

Responsibilities include intake support, basic needs provision, crisis intervention, and coordination with family and case workers. A Texas driver’s license and insurable driving record are required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in human services preferred.
• Six months of direct care/positive guidance experience with youth, young adults, or families in residential or professional settings.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be willing to transport clients; maintain a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Complete client intakes and assist with intake documents.
• Provide clients with basic needs and a safe living environment.
• Offer supervision and crisis intervention as needed.
• Follow daily schedules and plan activities to build life skills.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and documentation as required.
