Job summary

The role delivers both one-on-one and group services, using evidence-based curricula, and collaborates with case managers and reentry teams. Responsibilities include culturally competent coaching on budgeting, housing navigation, and access to banking; facilitating sessions in person

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field preferred, or 2+ years of peer coaching experience.
• Experience with trauma-informed practices and motivational interviewing.
• Familiarity with CBI curricula such as Thinking for a Change or Moral Recognition Therapy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-judgmental, peer-based support to clients transitioning from incarceration or justice involvement.
• Conduct daily workshops, provide coaching, and follow a bi-weekly workshop schedule.
• Facilitate sessions in-person or virtually and share lived experience to build trust.
• Help clients with housing, employment, substance use recovery, and family reunification barriers.
• Document milestones and maintain progress reports; track attendance.
