Job summary

Project Return Peer Support Network in Los Angeles seeks a part-time Peer Support Specialist to provide peer-to-peer support and self-help services. This role involves hands-on life coaching, outreach, and developing wellness services for clients, particularly those with lived experiences in the mental health system.

The ideal candidate will possess a Peer Advocate Certificate and demonstrate strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Flexibility in scheduling and knowledge of community resources are essential.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate the skills and ability to work effectively with coworkers and clients.
• Must have a valid Class C driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Must possess good personal judgment and sensitivity when interacting with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on life coaching and support to clients.
• Conduct intake assessments for program participants.
• Assist in developing Wellness Service Plans for clients.
