Job summary

Community Solutions for Children, Families, and Individuals is seeking a Workforce Development Facilitator to support professional development for staff across California. The role offers a hybrid schedule and requires commuting distance to our Gilroy, CA headquarters, with a focus on trauma-informed, client-centered service delivery and DEI principles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in training, education, or related field (behavioral health preferred).
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
• Experience with virtual training platforms and technology (Microsoft Office, Canva, Zoom).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Deep commitment to fostering diverse, equitable, inclusive workplaces and developing skilled staff.

Responsibilities

• Regularly facilitate training sessions on behavioral health topics and workforce development for various audiences.
• Create, develop, and update training materials (slides, curricula, facilitator guides, activities).
• Lead workshops and group training in-person or virtual for staff and external partners.
• Provide support to participants during and after training with professionalism.
• Assess training effectiveness via feedback and follow-up activities.
• Stay informed on trends and best practices in behavioral health and adult learning theory.
• Facilitate New Employee and New Internship Orientations.
• Coordinate logistics for employee/community engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate to identify training needs and opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities and evaluations.
• Assist in marketing and promotion of training programs.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
• Lead by example and foster a culture of learning and development.
• Ensure DEI&B principles are integrated into materials and interactions.
