Zusammenfassung

The YWCA of Western Massachusetts is hiring a part-time Visit Monitor for the Supervised Visitation Program in Springfield/Florence. You will assist with setup, monitor parent–child visits, and document observations while ensuring safety and compliance with program policies.

Reporting to the Direct Care Supervisor, you will support trauma-informed practices and coordinate with teams to meet program needs. Prior experience in human services preferred; associate degree required.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree plus 1–3 years of experience in human services.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills, including computer skills.
• Experience with survivors of violence and/or those who have perpetrated violence in an intimate partner relationship.

Aufgaben

• Assist with set up and closing (rooms prepared and cleaned).
• Review case in data system prior to client arrival.
• Monitor visits between non-residential parent and child and document observations.
• Model appropriate parenting behavior and encourage healthy parent–child relationships.
• Ensure center rules and safety policies are followed; intervene as needed.
• Communicate incidents to Direct Care Supervisor promptly and participate in trainings and staff meetings.
