Job summary

Volare in Washington, DC seeks a licensed Therapist to provide individual and group therapy to survivors of crime, including sexual assault and domestic violence. The role emphasizes trauma-informed, client-centered care with flexible hours within core business times.

The position reports to the Director of Therapeutic Services, offers a 35-hour week, and a compensation range of $65,000–$80,000 plus benefits such as health coverage, life insurance, holidays, and a retirement plan with up to 3%

Qualifications

• Licensed as a mental health counselor in Washington, DC (LGPC or LPC) and in good standing.
• Ability to maintain a secure, private, HIPAA-compliant space for telehealth sessions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Google Workspace, ETO, and Dialpad.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and intakes for referred survivors of crime.
• Provide short-term telehealth and/or in-office therapy sessions.
• Ensure trauma-informed, client-centered care.
• Co-facilitate therapy support groups for survivors.
