Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) to provide SUD services to participants referred from HCA. The role involves outreach, counseling, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams in Spokane to support recovery goals in community settings.

You will assess risk, connect clients to inpatient or outpatient programs, and help navigate Medicaid/SOAR access. Travel to community sites is required, with comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate degree in Addiction Studies or related field.
• DOH certification as SUD Professional is required.
• Must apply for Counselor Agency Affiliated – Registered credential within 30 days of hire.
• Must have unrestricted driver’s license and be willing to use personal vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• Locate individuals identified on the HCA referral list.
• Provide SUD services including referrals to inpatient/outpatient programs and counseling sessions.
• Coordinate with Trueblood teams and act as clinical consultant on evidence-based practices.
• Provide low-barrier services including housing, jail, and community-based settings.
• Develop recovery plans and ongoing support to promote progress in care.
• Conduct crisis and hospital diversion services as needed.
• Complete suicide and homicide risk assessments to ensure safety.
• Assist clients in accessing Medicaid and SOAR services.
• Provide assessments and referrals for outpatient or inpatient treatment.
• Deliver staff training on behavioral health issues as assigned.
