Job summary

Freeman Health System’s Ozark Center is seeking a Substance Use Counselor to provide group and individual counseling to individuals and families affected by behavioral health and addiction issues.

You will work within a trauma-informed framework, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, complete assessments and rehabilitation plans, and maintain accurate records. This role supports dual recovery and adheres to agency policies, with on-site or telehealth options where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology or social work with licensure ability.
• Alternative CRAADC/CRADC/CADC certification criteria may apply.
• Prior experience with addiction and mental health populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide group counseling services to assigned clients.
• Provide individual counseling services to assigned clients.
• Assist in review of intakes and assessments.
• Assist in formulation of individualized rehabilitation plans for clients.
• Serve as a member of the client’s interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain and update client records and complete written reports.
