Job summary

The Buckeye Ranch in Columbus, OH is seeking a Student Support Specialist to join the Bonner Academy/Education team. You will provide one-on-one and small group instructional support, helping clients complete academic tasks while fostering social, behavioral, communication, and life skills in a safe, trauma-informed setting.

This full-time, in-office position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to contribute to healing for children, youth and families served by our program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Min. three years of relevant mental/behavioral health experience.
• Active driver's license and proof of auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group instructional support.
• Assist clients with completing academic assignments and activities.
• Help clients develop social, behavioral, communication, and life skills.
• Support classroom management and behavior intervention strategies.
• Assist with transitions between classes and activities.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, trauma-informed treatment environment.
